法国十九世纪著名作家大仲马在一八四四年发表了长篇历史小说《三个火枪手》,得到了巨大的成功。第二年,一八四五年,他又写出《三个火枪手》的续集,即《二十年后》。 《三个火枪手》《二十年后》以及后来发表的《布拉热洛纳子爵》一起构成了“达达尼昂三部曲”,这三部小说描写了达达尼昂与三个火枪手朋友的一生。
《达达尼昂三部曲》是由法国大文豪大仲马于1844年到1850年间以火枪手达达尼昂的一生为主线描写法国17世纪中期的历史三部曲。包括《三个火枪手》、《二十年后》和《布拉热洛纳子爵》。

2. 卷三第二部,《Ten Years Later》(十年后),是整个卷三的76–140章
3. 卷三第三部,《Louise de la Valliere》(露易丝·拉瓦利埃尔),是整个卷三的141–208章
4. 卷三第四部,《The Man in the Iron Mask》(铁面人),是整个卷三的209–269章
