其中第三卷《布拉热洛纳子爵》由于实在太长了，一般分为三-四部，我们这里采用的四部的分法。
1. 卷三第一部，和卷三同名《The Vicomte de Bragelonne》（布拉热洛纳子爵），是整个卷三的1-75章 
2. 卷三第二部，《Ten Years Later》（十年后），是整个卷三的76–140章 
3. 卷三第三部，《Louise de la Valliere》（露易丝·拉瓦利埃尔），是整个卷三的141–208章 ，也就是本书了
4. 卷三第四部，《The Man in the Iron Mask》（铁面人），是整个卷三的209–269章
